Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how Golden Era Clinic provides services to clients and what you need to know before booking an appointment.
1. Booking Appointments
All treatments are by appointment only and can be booked online here. If you require assistance before booking, please contact me by email.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, I may be unable to proceed with your treatment. In these circumstances, your appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and a cancellation fee may apply in accordance with these terms.
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may result in some or all of your deposit being retained where this is necessary to cover reasonable losses arising from the cancellation.
If I need to cancel your appointment due to circumstances within my control, I will offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of any payment made for the appointment.
In rare circumstances, I may need to cancel an appointment due to events beyond my reasonable control. If this happens, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and refund any payment made for a treatment that I am unable to provide.
2. Prices and Payments
All current prices are listed on my website. Where applicable, prices include VAT.
Prices may be updated from time to time. However, once your booking has been confirmed, the agreed price for that appointment will not increase.
Unless otherwise stated, full payment is due at the end of your treatment.
I accept cash, bank transfer, credit cards and debit cards. Bank transfer or cash payments are preferred.
3. Treatment Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to receive most treatments. Certain services may be available to clients under 18 with appropriate parental or guardian consent. Please contact me before booking an appointment for anyone under the age of 18.
Some treatments may not be suitable if you have certain medical conditions, allergies, are pregnant or are taking certain medications.
You must provide accurate and relevant information before your treatment and inform me of anything that may affect your suitability for the treatment.
If I determine that a treatment is not appropriate or safe for you, I may decline to carry out the treatment. Where possible, I will explain the reason and discuss any suitable alternatives with you.
4. Clinic Rules
Smoking is not permitted inside the clinic.
For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 should not be brought to the clinic, as I am unable to supervise children while carrying out treatments.
Photography, video recording and audio recording are not permitted without my prior consent.
5. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may be redeemed against eligible treatments or products at Golden Era Clinic.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
Any expiry date or other conditions applying to a gift voucher will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
6. Liability
I will provide my services with reasonable care and skill, as required by law.
I am responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by my breach of contract, negligence or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
I am not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside my reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
7. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms and conditions from time to time.
Any changes will be made available on my website. Changes will not affect your existing booking where doing so would unfairly alter the agreement already made with you.
8. Data Protection
I process personal information in accordance with my Privacy Policy, which is available on my website.
9. Feedback and Complaints
I welcome feedback and will always aim to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
If you have a concern about your treatment or experience, please contact me directly so that I have the opportunity to discuss the matter with you and, where appropriate, put things right.
10. Legal Information
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. Where applicable, you may also have additional rights under consumer protection legislation.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law provides otherwise
